 All of our products are individually hand crafted using beautiful materials such as beech and various hardwoods. All these hardwoods are supplied by companies who can guarantee it comes from sustainable managed woodlands, and therefore assist in their development as an integral part of the economy. You will also note that most of our rockers including our rocking horses, rocking motorbikes, rocking snail and all the others are naturally finished. We feel that a children's rocker should also become a piece of furniture, which will fit equally well in the lounge as it will in the playroom.
All our children's wooden toys carry a full CE mark, meaning that they conform to all current toy legislation so you can relax when children play with them, even the toys like the coloured building blocks, and coloured wooden rocking motorbike, have been painted using toy friendly paints, which means you can feel safe when they decide to chew on them, as we all know they will.
We believe at Creations in Wood that it is important to build toys that children can play with, no matter how roughly. We provide a guide to the most suitable age range, so that the more technical and detailed wooden toys, like the US Fire Engine, carries an older suggested age, whilst some of our toy lorries, cars, buses and aeroplanes are built more simply and robust with the younger child in mind.
 In this age of modern production methods and materials, we believe that it is important to offer a range of Traditional Wooden Toys, including Unusual Wooden Rockers, which have been hand crafted in a traditional way. Our range of Children's wooden toys includes Wooden Train sets, Wooden Activity Toys, Toy Lorries, Toy Cars, Toy Buses, Toy Aeroplanes, Toy Fire Engines, Toy Helicopters and Toy Racing Cars. Whilst our range of rockers includes Rocking Horses, a Rocking Combination Motorbike, Rocking Motorbikes, a Rocking Giraffe, a Rocking Snail, a Rocking Duck, a Rocking Rabbit and a Rocking Turtle. Not to mention our Dolls Beds and Cradles.
Most of the items we make ourselves, however with growing demand we have had to seek assistance elsewhere, and to this end some of our toys are now produced by like minded, small family run businesses like our own, but all within the EEC.
